NADC Summer Dance Camp
Welcome to NADC Summer Dance Camp. This 8-week program begins July 1st and runs Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Our full schedule will be available on the website.
Each day includes breakfast, lunch, three dance classes, and games in a structured, supportive environment.
This is a space to build sisterhood, learn responsibility, and grow in technique, confidence, and performance quality. It also serves as a preview of our September–June dance year.
Dance Styles
Dancers will train in ballet, Afro-Caribbean, improvisational, and modern dance.
Class Types
Technique Classes
Technique classes focus on building strong foundations and improving dance skills. These classes are not performance-based, but may be used to clean and strengthen choreography for the show.
Group Dance Classes
Group dance classes focus on learning and creating choreography that will be performed.
Weekly Highlights
Tuesdays – Rehearsal & Production Day
Dancers will run and clean all dances created throughout the summer. This includes refining choreography, spacing, music, costumes, and discussing lighting and staging. This is where we bring the full performance together and make the show our own.
Thursdays – Improvisational Day
Dancers will create their own pieces, including solos, duos, and group dances, encouraging creativity and artistic expression.
Performance
Dress Rehearsal/Picture Day: August 22nd
End-of-Summer Performance: August 29th

Enrollment & Pricing
Full Camp (Tuesday–Saturday): $700 for 8 weeks
Reduced rates available for fewer days
Attendance is mandatory.
Full camp dancers are prioritized due to limited space. Part-time dancers will be accepted based on availability.
Lunch/Breakfast/Dismissal
You are more than welcome to bring your own snacks, breakfast and lunch however, it would also be provided at the studio based on all allergies.
If allergies are not provided to Miss Nya food will not be given to dancer.
Dismissal is in between 4:10pm and 4:20pm. Anytime after 4:20pm will be an additional fee.
Dancers are welcome to be taken out (by family members) for lunch by signed off legal guardian. It needs to be approved before the day that it happens for safety reasons. Dancers are welcome to miss breakfast and arrive in time for the first class of the day.
